Big Brother in the Office - Good or Bad?

Sigh. I'm being blocked. I can't view any games sites in the office. And judging from this article, being spied on is not just about being blocked from certain sites.

I can understand employers' paranoia about keeping the lid on company secrets. Especially in such competitive times, who wouldn't want to keep their cards close to their chests?

But is it going overboard?

A Conundrum

I have spent the last few weeks….studying. Studying the following :
  • What sort of Internet business should I get into?
  • What sort of knowledge should I accumulate to enable running such a business?
  • What are the various methods out there that the experts (i.e. successful Net-preneurs) have used?

Are you asking the right questions about business?

Today, a 9-to-5 job is no longer a secure position to be in. I don’t even want to get started on that.

So, I started something else. A business of my own. Several, actually.

Let me get this straight...

I've just finished this book called The Obvious : Everything you need to know to succeed by James Dale.  And am now reading this book called Predictably Irrational.

Yes, two more non-fictions that I've just shelled out much moolah for.

The first book had this chapter on biz-speak, which is essentially (and I might be understanding it incorrectly) that we should just cut the crap and talk straight.  Forget about all those mumbo-jumbo jargons that serves only to impress, manipulate and confuse.
